Den svenska björnstammen, translated as "The Swedish Bear Tribe," is a music collective from Norrköping that has established a permanent place in the Swedish music scene through their unique sound and creative lyrics.
The band was founded in 2008 and consists of members Dan Brännvall, Mattias Göransson, Ambjörn Göransson, Klas Isaksson, Petter Frisendahl and Åke Olofsson. Their sound can be described as a mixture of electronic pop music and indie pop, which makes their music very versatile and means that you can always discover new sounds in the songs even after listening to them several times.
Den svenska björnstammen are known for their imaginative lyrics, which are often humorous and thought-provoking at the same time. They sing about everyday topics, interpersonal relationships and life in Sweden.
"Vart jag mig i världen vänder..."
Some of her most famous songs are "Vart jag mig i världen vander" (Wherever I turn in the world) and "Svalkar vinden" (Cool Wind) from her first album "Ett fel närmare rätt" from 2012. These songs have conquered the charts and are extremely popular in Sweden.
Even if the music's electronic touches suggest that it is more of a studio band, the live performances are legendary and the concerts are usually fully booked within a very short time.
Her fifth album, which was created independently in 2022, contains, among other things, the tracks “Vatten och bröd” (water and bread) and “Genom mörker” (through the darkness).
